About

This is a high school class I was speaking to about the guitar.

My Teaching

I love teaching and performing. I've helped a lot of students learn to play and perform on the classical guitar. A number of my students are advanced players, and some have degrees, but I like teaching people who want to learn at any level. I try to help people learn to play with freedom in their technique so they can really enjoy expressing their musical ideas. Most of my teaching is in the Grand Rapids area, but I am available for workshops and master classes as well.

This is me. I really love to perform. In addition to my solo programs and concerts I perform with two guitar ensembles- The Grand Rapids Guitar Quartet and the Grand Rapids Guitar Duo.
